Today marks the one year anniversary of this blog. My phone has been through a few mishaps and repairs, but it's still going strong. We're going camping!

With that in mind, my friends and I set a challenge to see who can find the cheapest car online. Whoever wins, the others will chip in to buy that car... yeah right.
Whoever wins just gets dinner and a ride in the front seat of that civic.

I happened to come across this article from my favorite tech blog about how the time and date of 12:34:56 7/8/9 happens only once every 100 years.
So what did I do?
I put my lunch on hold with the iPhone fliptime app in hand, and took a screen shot at exactly that moment.
So that's how I spent that moment. What about you?
Now I can enjoy my lunch. Does this make me any... cooler?
My friend says NO!

Waiting for my departure from Dulles International Airport in Washington DC. I ordered a cheese burger 15 mins before my flight. The order was taking too long and I left Five Guy's Burger to board my plane. I handed my receipt to one of the TSA guys, saying "Anyone want a burger?" They knew I didn't have time to wait and I figured that was that. I would go hungry on the plane.
After settling down in my seat and minutes before the doors closed. The TSA officer came on board announcing if anyone ordered a #27!! I immediately raised my hand and said it was mine! He asked what I ordered. I repeated my order, "lettuce, tomatoes, mustard, grilled onions, mushrooms and green peppers."
Everyone had a good laugh. I had a pretty darn good meal. The lady next to me was having some carne asada with cheese nachos.
We made the plane smell pretty good.
Still tired as heck...

We spent the night of 4th of July stuck in my friends car in Times Square. Certain streets were closed off due to the mass amount of pedestrian traffic. All were coming back from the Macy's Fireworks Show off the Hudson River. We were headed to Upstate NY for some whitewater rafting in the Adirondack's North River (4.5-5hr drive). We made it to our motel in the national park around 4am. Slept for 3 hrs and left to go rafting. I had to drive, and I was the only one that brought along the directions.
Everything worked out somehow. You can really tell how a person is if you take a long roadtrip with them.
