Sometimes when you look back, you have no idea what it is or was.

I need a new phone.

First time riding the subway in LA. Wetook the subway to reduce our carbon footprint, but it doesn't help when you drive and park near the station when you live a few blocks away. I felt sort of like a tourist, since the only times I've rode the subway was when I was vacationing out of state.

Randomly opened this book at Anthropology and came across that quote. I have a friend going through a breakup, and it'll take him some time to realize he's better off moving forward.

Hang in there buddy.

Lakers won!

I have a friend who feels like this empty cup, but I keep reminding him that it'll be filled soon.
I wonder what it'll be filled with then.

I'm boycotting the drinking water and cups from work.

That's the best I could do.
Hope another earthquake doesn't knock these over.

I know they say there's no way to predict earthquakes, but the high frequency of quakes around the border area concerns me. The big one is coming and the only thing we can do is to prepare for it.

So get your earthquake/emergency packs ready by doing a quick search online. You can never be too safe:

Another earthquake near San Diego...

The big one is coming? Hopefully not.

Test drove the all new 2010 Subaru Outback 3.6 Limited today and all I can say is that I'm a fan now.
Voted best 2010 SUV by Motortrend Magazine and has the highest safety rating for any crossover/SUV.

But, my prius gets 50+ mpg....

Finally getting some summer weather over here.

I think I was more of a distraction for my SO (significant other) than a study buddy for her. I reserved a study room and the only one available was the room above, which seats 8! I guess this is our way of reliving the college days since we went to separate universities. People hardly studied back then. It was more for socializing and sneaking food into the library.

Why is it bigger than ours?

We've all seen the iPhone 4, but I'm looking forward to the next iPhone 4GS, 5, etc...
Since the back of the iPhone is made of glass, look forward to a possibility of a capacitive touch screen on the back of the phone also. Why? More gestures for shortcuts possibly?

The other thing I find funny is Apple naming the video calling feature "Facetime". Now that sounds like something you'd say to a little kid during playtime. "It's facetime!" Another thing I'd like to mention is that phones in Asia and Europe have had video calling capabilities on their cellphones for several years now. It's not revolutionary, we're just finally catching up.

I plan to upgrade to the iPhone 4, which I find the features to be a little above average. Now, if one day the iPhone can talk  back like the computer Tony Stark has in Iron Man, then we're talking and so is the iPhone.

Blackberry Storm 2 (9550) Screen Repair

.
So I dropped my friend's phone and bought a replacement glass touch screen (digitizer). There aren't any videos online that show how to replace the broken glass only, so we sort of winged it. We repaired the phone, but ended up breaking his micro sd card in half. Oh, the other thing is that his screen isn't as secure as before because we didn't have any extra adhesive for the glass screen. Since he has the Otterbox phone case, it should be fine.

So now I can repair Blackberrys and iPhones.

Finally got a chance to ride in a Lamborghini, the Gallardo Spyder convertible. The closest thing to owning one for me would be a toy model. The interior isn't as nice as I thought, but who cares about that when everything else is. Definitely not your everyday car. This guy probably puts anywhere from 20-100 miles a week, sometimes 0.

If you had that much disposable income, would you buy one?
